Susan Saboe Rose, PhD, GCNS-BC, PMHNP-BC, ARNP is a retired gerontologist and psychiatric NP with a special interest in memory disorders. She received her doctorate from the University of Arizona, during which she completed dual clinical traineeships in Neurogeriatrics and Geropsychiatry through the Department of Veterans Affairs. Dr Rose is ANCC board-certified as a gerontological clinical specialist and a psychiatric NP.
After a few decades as a research scientist, and a few more as a gerontologist, Dr Rose has retired from clinical practice, but provides geropsychiatric consultation on a case-by-case basis.
Please note: This is a very small practice, and strictly a consultation model. You will get a thorough evaluation, and a treatment plan, including psychiatric medications, if indicated. This is not a model for ongoing care. PCP referral is required.

Neurocognitive testing, dementia evaluations, treatment of neuropsychiatric symptoms, including anxiety, depression, psychosis, and behavioral challenges. Upon completion of the evaluation, a formal consult and treatment plan will be provided to your PCP.
Yes. Your PCP must be willing and involved. As a retired provider, I do not have the clinical staff to monitor lab results or medication refills. All clinical follow-up is deferred to the PCP.
